Best Fantasy Novel Award and the Dawn of the Posthuman Age
Attn Researchers:
Better Living Through Alchemy has been awarded Best Fantasy Novel by the Small Spec Book Awards. This is a triumph. This little weirdo book from our little weirdo publisher won the hearts of fellow weirdos across the internet. And it did all of this seven months ago. We apologize for delays while we collated the Annual Report.
Many thanks to those who’ve championed this book, especially to SSBA founder L. N. Holmes, cofounder Millie Abecassis, and influencers Saffron Asteria, Melody E. McIntyre, Sarah R. New, and all the voters, book reviewers, and book promoters. It is an honor.
The sequel to Better Living Through Alchemy is currently in development, but we’ve our next report ready for your perusal. We’ll let CAO Evan J. Peterson tell you more. And now, a message from our Chief Alchemical Officer:
Greetings, fellow researchers.
As you know, Temple Laboratories is no shrinking flower when it comes to exploring parallel (or even perpendicular) dimensions. After years of diligent work, I can now present you with access to a newly opened plane. Welcome to POSTHUMAN.
By entering the Posthuman portal, you'll join the ranks of a group called the Guardians, the premier post/trans/super-human heroes of their world, which looks much like our own. Of course, if you don't want to be a super-cop, you'll have the chance to join PSION, the alternative separatist movement.
We're still discovering the super-human abilities granted by the portal, but as of now we've documented 22 distinct posthuman powers. Shapeshifting, psychic abilities, manipulation of primordial elements: all of these are available to those brave and curious enough to step through.
Please join me on my newest journey. Let us challenge the unknown together.
For the hesitant, more information about POSTHUMAN: Guardians vs PSION, including two fictional reports from this dimension.
For the daring, direct access to the world of Posthuman.
Regards,
Evan J. Peterson
